AQUATICS PROGRAM DIRECTOR -- Full Time: Year Round, compensation dependent on experience.
We are seeking an individual to serve as full-time Aquatics Program Director. Our year-round facilities include one of the finest recently resurfaced competition pools in the county, a wading pool, new hot tub, and newly upgraded fitness center along with six tennis courts, four lit with state of the art LED lights. We offer group and private instruction for all ages in both swimming and tennis. Aquatics Program Director at the Scott Valley Swimming and Tennis Club is a career opportunity where you can have a great time and make a real
difference in the lives of others. The Director is responsible for providing strategic planning, development, oversight and implementation
for all current aquatic programs, including Swim Team, Masters Swim, Swim School, Swim Lessons, Recreational Swim, and for creating, implementing and managing new programs.
ASSISTANT SWIM COACH -- Part Time: Year Round, compensation dependent on experience.
We are seeking an assistant coach to help run practices and assist in the development of our swimmers in Swim School (Ages 4-7) and Swim Team (Ages 7-18). Candidates should be energetic, hard working, and enjoy working with children of various age groups and ability. Coaches will work an average of 20 hours per week, with swim meets on the weekends during the summer. Applicants need to have a ll of their certifications required by USA Swimming and be able to pass a background check.
CLUBHOUSE MAINTENANCE -- Part Time 12-18 hours per week, $13-16 per hour depending on experience.
Our clubhouse maintenance crew play a pivotal role at SVSTC, to provide friendly and courteous service to members and their guests around the following key activities: maintaining the public areas, and cleaning the clubhouses, café, fitness center and locker rooms. The maintenance staff are also expected to identify other needs around the club and grounds and either undertake the maintenance personally or to bring needed maintenance to the attention of the General Manager. From time to time there will be special maintenance/cleaning projects that will be assigned. Ability to communicate clearly with members and other staff members is a requirement in this private member-owned club.

HEAD TENNIS PROFESSIONAL -- Part Time: Year Round, compensation dependent on experience.
Actively seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Head Tennis Professional to assist the Director of Tennis with all aspects of the operation. The USPTA or PTR certified candidate would ideally possess an energetic and enthusiastic personality with exceptional attention to detail and professionalism suitable for a member-owned club environment. Minimum playing level of NTRP4.5 is required. Responsibilities will include instruction for adult and junior clinics, private lessons, and coaching Junior team tennis. This person should have experience with 10U, high performance instruction, and adult USTA leagues. Compensation commensurate with experience and will include salary, lesson and clinic commissions for the qualified candidate.

FRONT DESK / MEMBER SERVICES -- Part Time 16-20 hours per week, flexibility to work mornings/afternoons/weekends is a plus, $13-15 per hour.
This is a key role at SVSTC, managing the front desk and acting as the first point of contact when members and guests arrive. The Front Desk Assistant
will provide friendly, informative and courteous service around the following key activities: greeting and checking members and guests in;
answering the telephone; signing members up on an available tennis court; reservation for court at a future date/time; merchandize supplies
such as Grab and Go snacks and beverages, swim goggles, tennis balls and other accessories; guest services; billing enquiries; handling prospective
member inquires. We are seeking a responsible person with exceptional customer service skills to join our team. This is a perfect position
for someone looking for part time work in a great atmosphere. A perk to the position is that you and your family can use the facility! Applicants
must be at least 18 years of age.
SWIM INSTRUCTOR -- Part Time: Year Round, $20-25 per hour dependent on experience.
Actively recruiting one or more instructors to teach our swimmers in all age groups and ability. Coaches will work an average of 20 hours per week, with swim meets on the weekends during the summer. Applicants need to have all of their certifications required by USA Swimming and be able to pass a background check.
LIFEGUARDS -- Part Time: Summer Months – April to October, $15+ per hour depending on experience
Have fun in the sun and be a Lifeguard! SVSTC is looking for certified Lifeguards. Candidates will cover shifts that run from 11am to 5pm weekends and holidays and seven days a week during SVSTC Summer Camps. Responsibilities: supervising children and ensuring safety in and around the pool area as well as other club lifeguard duties (setting up equipment, etc.). Applicants must hold current CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard certifications and have the ability to maintain certification level of physical and mental readiness. We are looking for applicants with outgoing personalities and good communication skills.
