Adult Classes

  • Masters
    • Adult Swim -

      Swimmers will enjoy highly skilled and individual instruction to help them learn or improve stroke technique and build fitness. Focus will be on the four main swim strokes (freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke).
      • Instructor:  Coach Victor Wales
      • Date and Time:  Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10:00 - 11:30am (Combined levels/non-members welcome) 
      • Member Fee: $10 per class with registration, $15 for drop-in. 
      • Non-Member Free: $15 per class

  • Beginner Masters
    • Adult Stroke Clinic
      Swimmers will learn the fundamentals of each swimming stroke and turns. Focus will be on the four main swim strokes (freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke).
      Stroke by Day: Tuesday - Freestyle
      Wednesday - Backstroke
      Thursday - Breastroke 
      Friday - Butterfly 
      Instructor:  Coach Sarah Tassone 
      Date and Time:  Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 11:30am-12:30pm
      Cost: $30
      Max Participants: 6

      Come join SVSTC’s new challenging and rewarding Deep Water Exercise classes.
      These are performance-based classes, designed to build stamina, symmetry, balance, and strength needed for all other physical endeavors, whether it be tennis, skiing, biking, lap swimming, etc., or rehab from an injury or surgery. Teacher Christopher brings extensive knowledge of anatomy, functional kinesthetic movement, and decades of teaching experience to his work. Classes will emphasize mid-to-high intensity cardio and strengthening work, functional joint movement and stabilization, targeted muscle isolation and development, and full-body stretching. Classes are set in deep water, include great music, and float belts are available on a trial basis. Water gives back what we give to it so there will be something for everyone in every session. Come give it try!
