Sophie Stevens - Pickleball Coordinator
Sophie is a certified PPR Pro Level Pickleball Instructor in Marin County, California. Originally from Belgium, Sophie is a 5.0 Pickleball player who played D1 Tennis. After four years of playing and earning her undergrad in International Business at the University of Nevada, Reno, she spent two more years as an assistant tennis coach while pursuing her MBA. Sophie's teaching journey started early, instructing tennis to all age groups since she was 16. Post-MBA, she worked at Editorialist YX, a fashion-tech startup, leading the Operations Team for six years.
In 2022, after a tennis injury, she discovered Pickleball and she decided to return to her passion for sports. Sophie is the co-founder of S'Cube Academy, a Tennis and Padel Academy in Belgium and the founder of Sophie Athletics in Marin County. Sophie not only teaches Pickleball at Scott Valley, but also at Eastwood Park in Mill Valley and in Sausalito, combining her teaching expertise with a passion for building community connections. We are excited to have her on staff to develop the SV program and enhance members games.
