Maintenance Staff member — Full-time, $24+ per hour depending on experience. Our maintenance crew play a pivotal role at SVSTC, to provide friendly and courteous service to members and their guests around the following key activities: maintaining the pool deck and tennis courts, maintaining buildings and fixtures, responding to member needs. The staff are also expected to identify other needs around the club and grounds and either undertake the maintenance personally or to bring needed maintenance to the attention of the General Manager. From time to time there will be special projects that will be assigned. Ability to communicate clearly with members and other staff members is a requirement. Open shift is Saturday and Sunday 6am-2pm, Monday 9 am-4pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 3pm-10pm.
Cafe Cashier Weekend, Part-Time, seasonal position. $17+ per hour SVSTC is looking for a Cafe cashier to open the Club cafe in September on weekends, Friday 3-7, Saturday and Sundays 11:30 am-7:00 pm. Cashier must be 21 + years of age and have experience as a retail cashier or restaurant cashier, some familiarity with a POS system, strong communication and customer service skills.
Swim Instructor — Part-Time
Reports to Aquatics Manager, year-round, $18-20 per hour dependent on experience
Seeking one or more instructors to help provide private, semi-private and small group teaching for swimmers in all age groups and abilities. Applicants need to have all of their certifications required by USA Swimming and be able to pass a background check.
Front Desk/Member Services staff member — Part-Time 8-15 hours per week, flexibility to work mornings/afternoons/weekends is a plus, $17+ per hour depending on experience.
Front Desk Customer Service Team member position involves greeting and checking-in members, making reservations, answering phones and offering club rules guidance. This is an important role at SVSTC acting as the first point of contact when members and guests arrive. We are seeking a responsible person with exceptional customer skills to join our team. The Front Desk is covered from 7am to 9pm during the week and 7am to 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday. There are three shifts per day available, totaling around 15 hours possible per week. SVSTC is looking to staff one to three shifts per week on a regularly scheduled basis. Ideal for someone who would like to work just a few hours per week and perfect for someone re-entering the job market. A friendly, upbeat and positive atmosphere with full training offered. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Lifeguards — Part-Time Seasonal: Summer Months – April to October, $20+ per hour depending on experience and tenure.
Have fun in the sun and be a Lifeguard! SVSTC is looking for certified Lifeguards. Candidates will cover shifts that run from 11am to 7pm weekends and holidays and seven days a week during SVSTC Summer Camps. Responsibilities: supervising children and ensuring safety in and around the pool area as well as other club lifeguard duties (setting up equipment, etc.). Applicants must hold current CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard certifications and have the ability to maintain certification level of physical and mental readiness.
